Posed photographs of Capt. G.R. King and his cohorts, an overland trip during the rainy season, and unposed photographs of African civilians and soldiers.

These photograph albums provide an excellent record of native life in the 1920s and 1930s, and include some remarkably poignant portraits. Although many of the images are small in dimension, they are extremely fine in quality.
